Growing up in Orange County, Brandon Wronski (piano/guitar/vox) and schoolmate Cameron Trowbridge (lead guitar/vox) established a strong friendship and began playing music together at a young age, touring nationwide in a band they'd formed at just 13 years old. Years later, December of 2006 saw the two uniting again with a new musical aim: to make music that knew no limitations. The name "Eye Alaska" was no random choice; "'Alaska' is the Aleutian word for 'that which the sea breaks against, says Brandon. "'Eye' means that you're looking to those upon whom the sea breaks. It represented us as people who have dealt with trials and problems in life, as people who have felt our own oceans breaking against us." Recruiting former bandmate Chase Kenrsue (piano/guitar/vox) and longtime family friend Christopher Osegueda (bass), Eye Alaska set out to create music that was larger-than-life and full of big beats, employing the distinctness of carefully crafted but genuinely fun rock. Drawing on the cinematic spectacle that influenced the very origins of their sound, Eye Alaska began attracting loyal audiences that sang along to every lyric and danced with enthusiasm. It was clear that Eye Alaska had a big future.

In early 2008, Eye Alaska caught of attention of Huntington Beach based Fearless Records and decided to make the label their home, citing the need for a tight-knit group in a big industry. Now gearing up for their debut EP, Yellow & Elephant, Eye Alaska is preparing to issue a truly unique mix of genre-bending tracks that reflect the EP's title with a big, bright sound you won't hear anywhere else. Coupled with the strength of their fun live performances, Eye Alaska's beautifully unique songs are sure to generate a huge buzz.
